Spanish Language and Culture Courses at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca combine a rigorous academic program with a wide variety of cultural activities.

 

 

Lessons are taught inside the historic 17th century buildings of the Colegio Real de la Compañía de Jesús and we seek to immerse the student not only in the Spanish language, but also in Spanish culture. To achieve this, in additional to daily instruction from qualified and experienced teachers, students enjoy activities of all kinds like day trips, guided tours, fiestas and practising conversation with students whose first language is Spanish. All this afford them full integration into university life.

On the academic side, students are placed in small groups and have the permanent support from our teachers who specialise in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Courses can last from 2 weeks to 6 months and are arranged according to the student's level.

Salamanca is a city which for many is the cradle of this increasingly universal language. It offers students an ideal environment in which to learn Spanish so that the knowledge learned each day in class helps students to be assimilated into city life... and have unforgettable experiences.
